GSI Health, a leading medical technology company, opened their headquarters in Center City Philadelphia early last month.
The move to a new headquarters was fueled in part by the company’s growth. GSI is expected to expand by 50 percent in 2016, the majority of which will be software engineers and other technology positions.
“Our new headquarters represents the next step in the evolution of our progressive work culture that enables distributed teams to build sophisticated, tightly integrated software systems,” said the company’s Founder and CEO LeRoy Jones in an Area Development article. “I am excited to build a technology center that supports the talents and innovation of our best-in-class team, and there is no better place for it than Philadelphia.”
GSI Health is poised to have many options for new hires because of the more than 100 world-renowned colleges and universities in the region graduating almost 90,000 students annually, 13,000 of which are STEM related degrees.
