Rutgers-Camden opens $62.5M Nursing and Science building

Rutgers-Camden revealed the latest addition to its campus with a new $62.5 million Nursing and Science building in late September.

The 107,000 SF building will provide students with a Simulation Lab and a Basic Clinical Competencies Lab which imitate a realistic environment with access to up-to-date equipment.

“This building represents Rutgers’ first bold step in forging an ‘eds and meds’ corridor that moves us closer toward our vision of a city where innovation in health care and bioscience commands the imagination of the world,” Rutgers-Camden Chancellor Phoebe Haddon said in a New Jersey Business article.

The Nursing and Science building will continue to build upon the Greater Philadelphia’s strengths in clinical trials, personalized medicine, and gene therapy.
