Philadelphia Navy Yard Awarded PA State Grant to Support Life Sciences and Advanced Manufacturing Development

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has awarded a $30 million PA SITES grant to Ensemble/Mosaic, the developer of The Navy Yard in Philadelphia. This investment will accelerate the development of the Navy Yard’s Greenway District, a 54-acre project dedicated to advancing life sciences, research, and advanced manufacturing.

Merck breaks ground on $1B Biologics Manufacturing Facility in Delaware

Merck has officially started construction on a $1 billion, 470,000-square-foot state-of-the-art prescription drug manufacturing facility in Wilmington, Delaware, which will become the production home of its Keytruda cancer treatment for U.S. patients.  The lab component of the site is set to be fully operational by 2028, with production of compounds to begin by 2030.
