An East Coast flagship Advanced Therapies Collaboration Center has opened in Philadelphia to accelerate the development of cell and gene therapies, providing resources to biotech, biopharma, and translational researchers developing next-generation cell-based immunotherapies.

The newly opened R&D center plans to grow to over 50 employees. Legend Biotech chose Philadelphia because the city is home to some of the world’s greatest universities, scientists, and research institutions.

CSL to invest $1.5B to expand U.S. operations
