Frontier Airlines will provide flights to five new destinations originating from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). The newly added flights will be available as soon as April 30th and May 1st.
The five new locations are:
- Atlanta, Georgia (ATL)
- Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (MYR)
- Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS)
- Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (RDU)
- Pensacola, Florida (PNS)
“Frontier’s growing network here gives more affordable options to folks who want to travel by air,” said PHL Airport CEO Chellie Cameron in a statement.
Depending on the flight, these deals are available every day, which is convenient for frequent fliers. Frontier is the second largest carrier by destinations served at the Philadelphia International Airport, behind American Airlines.
In 2013, Frontier also added nonstop flights from the Princeton/Trenton area to Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, New Orleans, Raleigh/Durham, Tampa and other locations. Direct flights such as these support growth in Greater Philadelphia by providing easy transportation options for business and vacation travelers alike.
