Thermostat Recycling Corporation (TRC) will soon be the newest company on Office Center Drive in Fort Washington, PA.
The company, which manages the disposal of mercury-containing thermostats, is relocating their national headquarters to the Greater Philadelphia region because it is closer to their target market; Philadelphia is in the middle of the East Coast mega market, which has a higher rate of outdated mercury thermostats.
“The Greater Philadelphia Region is centrally located between the nation’s capital and its financial epicenter,” said TRC’s Executive Director Ryan Kiscaden in an Area Development article. “Building relationships with government officials, non-governmental organizations, the environmental community, and corporate stakeholders is key to the success of our new focus. With greater support and involvement from these parties, our message will have greater reach and impact.”
TRC is one of many companies, such as D&H Global Tax Group relocating headquarters to the Greater Philadelphia region due to assets such as prime location, unmatched talent, and excellent transportation.
