SAP is adding nearly 400 jobs to Pennsylvania within the next three years, 150 of which will be high-wage positions located in the Greater Philadelphia region. The software company’s U.S. headquarters are located in Newtown Square, in Delaware County.
“Pennsylvania’s nearly 300 colleges and universities each year add highly skilled graduates to our labor force of more than 6.5 million, which is of great benefit to the commonwealth’s growing register of technology companies,” said Governor Wolf in a Philadelphia Business Journal article. “I’m pleased that SAP has decided to make the most of this invaluable resource, [and] I look forward to the company’s continued growth and success in the years to come.”
SAP North America President Jennifer Morgan stated that the company is excited to expand in the Commonwealth, saying that the company’s collaboration with state government is a model for public-private partnership that will increase innovation and growth.
